Education:

К. Iskaziyev graduated from the Oil Faculty of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.Lenin with the degree of Mining Engineer and Geologist. He has a doctorate degree in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences.

He started his career in 1985 as an Operator at EMBANEFT Production Association.

From 2006 to 2024 he held a number of posts and headed Embamunaigas, KazMunaiGas Exploration and Production, KazMunayGas Representative Office in Aktau, and Kalamkas-Khazar Operating.

In different years, he worked in KazMunayGas as an Executive Director of Oil and Gas Production, Managing Director of Geology, Geophysics and Reservoirs, Chief Geologist, Managing Director of Non-Operating Assets, Chief Exploration, Production and Oilfield Services Officer and Chief Geology and Exploration Officer.

K. Iskaziyev is an honoree of the Al-Farabi State Prize in Science and Technology. He was awarded the KURMET Order.
