Bekzat Abayildanov, born in 1976, graduated from K.Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University in 1999 with a degree in Management and Production Organization. In 2001, he graduated from the same university with a degree in "Development and operation of oil and gas fields" with the qualification of a mining oil engineer.

Bekzat Abayildanov began his career in 1999 at Uzenmunaigas JSC as a shop normalizer.

Bekzat Abayildanov has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a leading engineer–economist, head of the Planning, Labor and Payroll Department, Asset Management Department, director of the control and analytical Department. Department of Finance of JSC OzenMunaiGas.

From 2005 to 2009, he held senior positions in various companies in the oil and gas industry, from 2009 to 2016 he was Chairman of the Management Board, General Director of JSC Caspian Oil.

In 2016, he was appointed Deputy General Director for Production of JSC RD KazMunaiGas. From 2017 to 2018, he held the position of Deputy General Director for Production of JSC RD KazMunaiGas - General Director of JSC Ozenmunaigas.

From 2018 to 2020, he was an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunaiGas.

From 2020 to 2021, he held the positions of Deputy General Director for Resource Base Development and Technical Policy, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Exploration and Production of JSC NC KazTransGas.

Since September 17, 2024, he has been appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas, overseeing the geology, exploration, oil and gas production block and oilfield services projects.

Bekzat Abayildanov was awarded the National Certificate and the medal "Industry Leader 2015", according to National Business analytical data from 2015, he entered the TOP 10 best CEOs in Kazakhstan, has a number of publications in scientific journals.
